if tried by a jury of peers from the areas in which you live. they could presumably consider it self defense and not guilty. if the law is there to protect misuse of the firearms, but the fire arms are left out... the assumption is that the 16 year old daughter wouldnt have access to the firearms if they were locked up. as the context is out of line for terms of kids or not. within considerations of child safety. however, this doesnt consider terms or situations where the intruder might have access to the unsafed firearms. where if the firearm isnt in a safe, she is equally at risk of being shot as well. as if she had a firearm and it was taken from her from someone overpowering her even if shot. making the intruder even more hostile. as a warrior prefers to consider all scenarios of hostile provacations. this is part it why the california firearm securities mandates that firearms are suppose to always be in a safe. where personally as an extended measure, my firearms also have removed bolt carriers. as it only takes 3-5sec to unlock the cable, or make way to the safe, get the bolt, and 1-3sec to drop the bolt into the firearm. where i might not need a firearm to defend myself and others, but if i grab my firearm it would make home and family defense vs anti-equipment and hostile personnel that much more effective. as for safety i express to my nieces and girlfriend when visiting... to lock yourself in the closet, bathroom or in the walkin safe. where the safest method of war is not to fight the war, and bunker down. it is good they have the knowledge to defend themselves, but it is even better if they need not to combat in the first place. where believe it or not, swat broke into my home once at the wrong address. and my gf locked herself in the closet as i confronted the unknown and unwarranted intruders. as i thought it was her ex-boyfriend whom was harassing her recently. luckily it was a mistake and no-one got severely hurt. but after, i had to cross train the swat on how to appropriately identify themselves, how to properly stack along a wall and breach a room, because they did it wrong and why i was able to disarm the first breach and the rest were at risk in line with the gurage as i used the first man as a body shield. then the city ended up paying for replacing the door with a 8ft pinned rebar steel door. so that wont be happening again. and i think they learned their lessons, because it smelt like one of them shit themselves. as that could have gone very badly for them had i not recognized the stripes on the collar of the 2nd individual.

Hey Nick and team. Virginia Beach resident, trying to get smart on local politics. It seems that it is incredibly easy to follow national politics, lots of coverage and candidates & key people constantly on dozens of podcasts breaking down their positions, and who they are as a person. I always have a really hard time finding more than the “talking points” on our local candidates. Even today’s primary for senate, I have a basic understanding of Hung Cao’s positions, but have had a hard time finding meaningful information on the other 4 senate primary candidates. Where do you and the team go to “get smart” on these candidates and cut through the BS to real information?
